GRN ROOM is operated by GRN ROOM LLC, a Utah limited liability company wholly owned by CLEG Investments LLC. References to "GRN ROOM," "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to GRN ROOM LLC as the data controller and operator of the GRN ROOM platform.

When you create an account, we collect your email address. We use a one-time code (OTP) authentication system — no passwords are stored.

We collect information you provide when using the service: film ratings, predictions, reflections, and discussion contributions within your circle.

We automatically collect basic usage data — pages visited, actions taken — to understand how the service is used and improve it. This data is collected in aggregate and is not tied to individual profiles beyond what is necessary for service operation.

Your email address is used to authenticate you via one-time codes and, where you have opted in, to send service-related notifications.

Content you create within a circle (ratings, predictions, reflections) is visible to other members of that circle and is used to generate the room's editorial archive and identity over time.

GRN ROOM LLC does not build advertising profiles, sell your data to third parties, or use your information for purposes other than operating and improving GRN ROOM.

GRN ROOM LLC may send SMS (text message) notifications to help your circle stay connected — including account verification codes, login authentication codes, circle invitations, weekly movie reminders, discussion notifications, and other account-related transactional communications.

SMS messages are transactional only. GRN ROOM LLC does not send promotional or marketing SMS messages.

SMS consent is used solely for delivering the communications you have requested from GRN ROOM.

You opt into SMS notifications by providing your mobile phone number and actively checking an unchecked consent checkbox within the GRN ROOM platform. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any message we send, or by turning off SMS notifications in your profile settings. After unsubscribing, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS communications. Reply HELP for assistance.

Message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Mobile information collected for SMS communications — including phone numbers and SMS consent — will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. GRN ROOM LLC does not sell, share, rent, or disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent for marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes.

We use session cookies to keep you signed in between visits. These are essential to the service and cannot be disabled without logging out.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. This collects anonymized, privacy-friendly data with no cross-site tracking. No advertising cookies or fingerprinting technologies are used.

GRN ROOM LLC uses the following third-party services to operate:

Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Your data is stored in Supabase's secure, managed PostgreSQL environment.

Twilio — SMS delivery provider used to send transactional SMS messages to users who have explicitly opted in to receive SMS communications from GRN ROOM. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are shared with Twilio only as necessary to deliver requested SMS messages.

OpenAI — AI infrastructure used to generate recommendations, summaries, editorial recaps, and other in-app intelligence features. Limited user content may be processed through OpenAI APIs to provide these experiences.

The Movie Database (TMDB) — film metadata, posters, and backdrop images displayed within the app.

Vercel — hosting and edge delivery. All traffic is served over HTTPS.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data handling practices. GRN ROOM LLC does not grant these providers access to your data beyond what is necessary for their specific function.

Your account and circle data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, GRN ROOM LLC will remove your personal information from our systems within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Editorial content you have contributed to a circle (predictions, reflections, ratings) may be retained in anonymized form as part of the circle's archive if other members remain active.
